Calendar Swap!

I was so excited this year to participate in the Calendar Swap set up by the wonderful ladies at Design Crush and Greedy Girl!  I asked for an international swapmate, and I was paired with Jac Seah, an inspiring travel blogger who adores diving!  Her blog, the Occasional Traveler is literally a treasure trove of adventures.  So, I was so excited to receive this lovely calendar in the mail:

Every month features another lovely city that I would adore exploring!  The only two I have been able to visit are Amsterdam and New York; who knows what 2013 might bring.  Thanks Jac Seah for this amazing calendar!

A Short Plane Ride to My Home on the Hill

Every few years I have the privilege of returning to Agua Viva Children's Home in Chimaltenango, Guatemala.

Situated on top of a mountain, it provides the most beautiful views!

The relationships we form with the kids are priceless...

Like the one we have with our new sponsored child, Enrique.

Portland, OR (Part 1)

One of the biggest aspects of experiencing Portland is to explore Mt. Hood. Mt. Hood is situated right next to Portland, and attracts everyone from skiers to hikers to campers. We were able to go snowshoeing and had a blast! The immense-ness of nature just held me in awe of God's creation. Amazing!
