Ohiopyle: Cucumber Falls

The poetry of the earth is never dead. ~John Keats

Standing beneath a waterfall is one of the most surreal feelings one could have. Motion and energy surge around you, yet you are left untouched and unaffected.

Nature has a way of making one feel insignificant.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more.
~George Gordon, Lord Byron, Childe Harold's Pilgrimage
